Mission:

To support school approved extracurricular activities at Foothill, Amador, and Village highschools in Pleasanton, California.


Definition of Extracurricular Activities:
Sports, music, art, theatre, school approved clubs, tutoring, etc.
Extracurricular activities must occur during non-school hours and be supervised by a teacher or other school approved personel.


Goal:
The goal is to raise $100,000 by Jun 1st, 2013. This money will be placed in an endowment fund that will support our mission statement through the subsidizing of costs including but not limited to supervisor compensation, purchase of supplies and equipment, and other like overhead costs that are yet to be determined.


How will funds be collected?
Funds will be raised by a requested annual contribution of $20. Total and absolute transparent accounting will be chief focus of this fund. Members will be listed as will each withdrawal made for administrative expenses such as website creation and maintenance.


Any benefit to members?
We are pursuing tax exempt status so that all contributions will be tax deductible. There are also tentative plans are to establish a website with a login that will provide members with recorded game highlights, musical performances, art shows, and student podcasts with organization updates.


How do we get there?

2009 Goal: $10,000
2010 Goal: $25,000
2011 Goal: $45,000
2012 Goal: $70,000
2013 Goal: $100,000 (TOTAL)

And after the goal is reached?
Yearly $20 contributions will continue as well as additional income through conservative investments such as the purchase of highly rated bonds or certificates of deposit.


How much will the schools get?
On a once yearly basis starting in 2014, half of any increases to the fund measured year over year will be given equally to Amador, Foothill, and Village High School in support of extracurricular activities.
